Aim and Organization

As part of its activities, the MSc in Data Science organizes a yearly summer school to acquire valuable credits to qualify for the enrollment into the programme.

Over a two-week period, a set of full-time short courses (18 hours, 3 CFUs each) will be offered in the following three areas:

  1. Mathematics/Statistics (MAT/, SECS-S/);
  2. Computer Science (INF/* ING-INF/);
  3. Economical, Psychological, and Sociological Science (SPS/, SECS-P/, M-PSI/).

Course attendance is compulsory, and students cannot attend more than four courses (for a total of 12 CFU) – two during the first week e two during the second week. At the end of the Summer School, students will be recognized CFUs in each area of attendance upon passing a final exam.

Admission Requirements

There are no prerequisites for participating. Summer School courses are open to students who own only some of the credits that are necessary to enroll or just want to refresh their knowledge in the areas of informatics and/or mathematics/statistics and/or socio-psych-economics.

Teaching Language

Courses will be held in Italian.

Provisional fees of the courses

Attendance of Summer School courses requires the payment of a fee.
